I’d like to present Avril Lavigne to you. She was born in Belleville, Ontario, Canada on September 27, 1984. She’s a singer-songwriter, fashion designer and actress. She is currently one of the top-selling artists releasing albums in the United States, with over 10.25 million copies certified by the Recording Industry Association of America. She has been dubbed as the 'pop-punk princess' by various sources. She lives in Manhattan.
Her father is French and her mother is a Nappanee indian. She has an older brother, Matthew, and a younger sister, Michelle. The family moved to Nappanee, Ontario, when Lavigne was five years old.
In November 2000, she was signed by ken Krongard, an A&R representative to Arista Records, who invited the head of Arista, Antonio "L.A." Reid, to hear her sing at the Manhattan studio of producer Peter Zizzo. She abandoned school for music.
LET GO (2002-2003)
Avril Lavigne collaborated with the production team The matrix, and the ensuing album is called Let GO is her first album, on June 4, 2002. By May 2003, Let Go had accumulated over a 1 000 000 sales in Canada. As of 2009, the album has sold over 16 million worldwide. The single “Complicated” has scored number-one single worldwide.

"Complicated" is a song by Avril Lavigne and was her first single, released in 2002 from her debut album, Let Go. Based on its chart performance, the song is Lavigne's second most successful single and was one of the most successful releases of 2002. Lavigne tied a record set by Natalie Imbruglia's "Torn" when "Complicated" held the number 1° spot on the contemporary hit radio chart for eleven weeks in a row. The song was ranked at number 197° in Blender magazine's "The 500 Greatest Songs since You Were Born". "Complicated" was parodied by "Weird Al" Yankovic on his 2003 album Poodle Hat. The parody called "A Complicated Song" is a comedy rock song that focuses on a group of stories involving incest, constipation and decapitation that have absolutely nothing to do with each other. And the video of this song was directed by The Malloys.
I chose this song because I think it’s a simple song. This is her first single. It’s the song which with her famous. Single “Complicated” is about life which is complicated, and also about the way they act. This song relax me.
