Michael Joseph Jackson known under the name of " the King of pop «, was born the 29 august in 1958 in Gary (Los Angeles). He was a Christian and American musician and one of the most commercially successful and influential entertainers of all time. His unique contributions to music and dance, along with a highly publicized personal life, made him a prominent figure in popular culture for over four decades. Alongside his brothers, he made his debut in 1964 as lead singer and youngest member of The Jackson 5, and began a successful solo career in 1971. In brief Michael Jackson went through a success during his life. Finally The King of pop died on the 29 June 2009 in Los Angeles.
I) Michael Jackson's life
Michael Jackson was in preparatory academy in 1974-1975. He was 16 years old, he studied English, Sciences. He was a clever studiant , but the king of pop preferred English. He wasn't good at it, because he 
was disgusted by the idea of dissecting a frog. Michael never stayed more than 2 years in a school because of his popularity. Michael Jackson started to sing when he was 6 with his brothers. Michael Jackson was the leader of the team. Michael was the most famous of them because of his wonderful voice and his young age. Michael Jackson's parents are Joseph Jackson and Katherine Jackson. His father was very strict with Michael and his brothers. Joseph Jackson could be violent with Michael and his brothers because they didn't want to follow the same career. Everyone was frightened by Joseph, even Katherine Jackson their mother. Michael and his 
brothers wanted to go to school, as all children do age, but his father disagreed. When he was 16, Michael Jackson had to leave the group to start a new career on his own…
II) His Work
During all his life, Michael Jackson was singer, songwriter, record producer, dancer, choreographer and actor. Michael was 25 years old when he produced "Thriller" in 1983. Michael went on his first tour in 1966 in the Midwest. It was, and currently remains, the best-selling album of all times. It was a success worldwide, but the king of pop thought his work deserved to be at the same level. Everybody is convinced that Thriller is the best single ever but Michael Jackson preferred other songs because thriller is a special song.
I think this music is cool, wonderful especially Thriller because it shows Michael Jackson's frightening side. Thriller could be summed up in this sentence taken from the album:" All thru the dead start to walk in their masquerade".
