New York is a very famous city in this world, located in north east. The size of New York is 1 124 km² and the population is 8 143 200 hab/km². The climate is rather good; it’s hot in the summer.

The region was inhabited by about 5 000 Lenape Native Americans at the times of it’s European discovery in 1524 by Giovanni de Verrazano. Giovanni de Verrazano was an Italian explorer in the service of the French crown, who called it «Nouvelle Angouleme ».

Within New York City we can take the subway, the bus, the tram, or the taxi…And to come to NY City from France, we can cross the Atlantic Ocean by boat or by plane…

There is a very famous monument in New York City named Chrysler Building which was fonded in 1928 by William Van Alen. It’s a gigantic building with 77 floors. The address is 405 Lexington Avenue, New York City, USA.

There is a famous museum in New York City named Solomon R.Guggenhim museum.

The famous dish in New York City is the «beef stroganoff». It’s a very famous and delicious dish.
